Historic District

Be'er Sheva's historic district, also known as the Old City, is a well-planned area established in the early 20th century under Ottoman rule, showcasing a grid pattern of one- and two-story stone buildings, and features historical sites like Abraham's Well and the Aljama Mosque.

Nestled on 16 acres in Be’er Sheva—historically notable as the city where Abraham first settled, and now the fastest growing city in Israel—the Village will serve as a serene living and learning sanctuary for thought, study, and innovation. It will shine as a global beacon, blending education, innovation, heritage, and unity to create a lasting impact for generations. Providing both long-term and short-term educational programs within a welcoming communal space.

Amphitheater

The centerpiece of JNF-USA’s efforts to create a renaissance for the city, this urban renewal project has served as an anchor of tourism and recreation, with the largest amphitheater of its kind in Israel, seating some 12,000 spectators and spanning an area of over 25 acres.

The Ecological Park of the Negev's Captial: A major restoration project has transformed the area, a former garbage dump, into a green park with flowers and recreational activities for the benefit of the people of Beersheva and its environs.
